Four steps to your dream kitchen
Creating a kitchen that is designed to suit your needs as well as fitting your budget does not need to be as time consuming, overwhelming and as complicated as you
might think.
With help from the GKW team the whole process will seem smooth and effortless. You'll be amazed by the improvements that can be made to how you cook and interact in your kitchen.
STEP 1: Initial consultation
A GKW designer will meet with you, either in the showroom or on site to discuss your initial ideas, goals and help find that balance between all of your wants and needs.
This is why having a kitchen designed properly is so important.
This is a good time to show any magazine pictures, brochures or samples you've come across and indicate the sort of appliances you will be using.
Taking all of this into consideration initial conceptual design layouts will be discussed and sketched up which make it possible for GKW to do an Estimate.
STEP 2: Design Review
If you are happy with the direction your are heading then a CAD based three dimensional layout can be done by the designer and presented in the GKW showroom.
By meeting in the showroom the fully equipped display kitchens can be used to demonstrate the possible finishes, accessories and fittings available. Your design will subsequently be refined and developed further into a layouts with manufacture in mind.
With all this information being identified and a much clearer direction now evident it is possible to generate an accurate Quotation.
STEP 3: Quotation
You will again be invited back to the showroom to go through the quotation in detail. At this stage the des
igner will be able to explain how the costing has been done and explain what alterations could be made and if done, how the costing would be effected by these changes.
STEP 4: Selections
Now the fun begins! Based on everything done up to this point, it is time to finalise colours and finishes from the product ranges detailed in your quotation. From here manufacturing time frames can be established and you'll have the opportunity for the designs to proceed on to implementation.
